In this video we show you how to install a start collar into a piece of ductwork. Lock the tab of the start collar in until you hear it click in. Then bend out two tabs, leave the next three straight and continue this all the way around the collar. Once you've done this, slide the collar into the hole, it should rest above the ductwork on the tabs bent out. Bend the straight tabs to the inside of the ductwork and secure the collar with at least four screws into the tabs on top of the duct. Seal off the collar with duct sealer.
